Casino bonus wagering calculator
Enter the terms of any casino offer to see the real stakes it asks for, the expected cost at a given RTP, and whether it breaks the 10x UK wagering cap.
- Bonus you receive
- £50
- Total wagering
- £500
- Real stakes needed
- £500
- Expected cost at 96% RTP
- £20
That’s 10x the bonus — within the 10x UK cap.
“Expected cost” is the average amount the house edge takes from the stakes needed. It is an average, not a prediction: real sessions swing far above and below it, and most players lose the bonus before finishing the wagering.
How to read a casino bonus
Wagering is how many times you must stake the bonus (or deposit plus bonus) before winnings from it can be withdrawn. From 19 January 2026, UK-licensed casinos cannot set wagering above 10x, and can’t combine casino and betting in one promotion.
Game contribution sets how much of each stake counts. If blackjack counts 10%, every £10 bet clears only £1 of wagering, so you need ten times the stakes.
RTP (return to player) is the long-run share of stakes a game pays back. A 96% slot keeps an average of £4 for every £100 staked. Multiply that by the stakes the bonus requires and you have its average cost.
