Affiliate disclosure
In short: Some links to casinos are affiliate links. If you register through one we may earn a fee. It costs you nothing and has no effect on our scores, rankings or what we write.
1. How we are funded
Tallyroom earns revenue through affiliate arrangements with UK-licensed casinos. When you follow certain links and then register, the operator may pay us a referral fee. We take no payment from readers.
2. Which links are commercial
Any “Visit” button that sends you to a casino is an affiliate link. These go through a /go/ address on our website and carry rel="sponsored nofollow" so browsers and search engines can identify them.
Links to the Gambling Commission, GAMSTOP, BeGambleAware, Gamblers Anonymous and the National Gambling Helpline are never commercial.
3. What money does not buy
It does not buy a score — scores come from our weighted method. It does not buy a position — the list is ordered by score and nothing else. It does not buy inclusion — a casino without a valid UK Gambling Commission licence cannot appear here. And it does not buy silence — weaknesses are published for every casino.
4. Independence
Reviewers test and score without knowing the commercial terms of any arrangement. No casino sees a review before publication. If an operator asks us to change a score or remove a criticism, we refuse.
5. Advertising rules
This disclosure is written with the CAP Code requirements on identifying marketing communications, and Competition and Markets Authority guidance on online endorsements, in mind.
